Bill started his career in the financial industry in 1981 as a Financial Analyst at Bank of America in San Francisco. In 1985, he started working as a financial advisor on the premise of combining the technical aspects of industry with the core value of helping people pursue their goals. For more than 30 years, he has served a broad range of client needs in the areas of investment management, financial planning and corporate retirement plan management.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1981 and a Master of Business Administration degree in Financial Planning from Golden Gate University, San Francisco in 1984. He served as the student-elected president of his MBA class and, at age 30, returned to Golden Gate University to teach within the MBA-Financial Planning program.

Additionally, Bill has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst® (AIFA®), Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P®), and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designations.

Bill remains active in both the local and academic communities. He has been a member of the Foundations Boards of Natividad Hospital, First Presbyterian Church, Hartnell College (Executive Board and Investment Committee) and Notre Dame High School. He most recently served on the Foundation Board of the Hospice Giving Foundation, where he served on the Investment Advisory and Planned Giving Committees, and chaired the Hospice 2015 Back to the Valley fundraiser. Bill and his wife, Terri, reside in Salinas, CA where they raised their three children.
