Happy Friday!

In another volatile day, the U.S. equity markets ended little changed.  Rising oil prices and some states reopening their economies added the “positives” for the day, while news of Gilead’s drug Remdesivir flopping in its first clinical test weighed heavy on the markets.

In the pre-market, Dow futures were up as many as 200 points, but the market fell flat soon after the open. Other than President Trump signing the latest stimulus bill this morning, not much in the way of unique news.

As noted, several states are in the beginning stages of reopening their economies for business in certain areas of their economy. Georgia seems to be leading the way.  We will see what the weekend has to bring in terms of the success of the opening of their economies, and certainly many more will follow.

We wish everyone a safe and healthy weekend.  The weather on the central coast looks to be amazing, a quick non-essential trip to the beach might be in order.
